| | | On March 10th, Mark Robertshaw, CEO of Morgan Crucible, Tim Hayter, CEO of Thermal Ceramics Division and other management team joined the inauguration of new production and 6th year anniversary of Yixing Morgan Thermal Ceramics Co., Ltd. (YTMC). The mayor of Yixing city, Mr. Wang Zhongsu blessed the ceremony in presence of local officials and media together with many distinguished customers and Morgan executives including, Don Klas, CEO of Carbon, John Maxwell, CEO of MMS, Andrew Hosty, CEO of Technical Ceramics. Thermal Ceramics Global, Asia and China managers all joined in and congratulated the event. Establish in 2002, YMTC is now equipped with 10 high temperature kilns and operates own physical and chemistry labs. It manufactures high temperature insulating firebricks and mortar and is ISO 9001-2000 certified. In 2008, a new fully-automated production line was completed with close technical support from Thermal Ceramics Global, and it became the biggest and most advanced IFB maker in China. Its EHS systems for dust, air and water emission controls were also recognized as a model green plant by the local government. In congratulatory speech, Mark summarized Morgan¡¯s solid business growth during past 20 years in China and thanked customers and staff. He expressed appreciation for chair woman, Madam Cui and GM, Tara Yin of YMTC for their great contribution to success, and the local government back up. The CEO also asserted Morgan¡¯s commitment for continuing investment in China. |
